I’m so happy, Julia went to event and looked gorgeous in a LWD.
It may not have had Brad and Angelina dominating the red carpet, but the Inglourious Basterds New York premiere attracted a host of stylish stars.
With so many fashionistas filling one room, the evening provided the perfect showcase of next season’s trends.
In other style notes, the little black blazer continues to rule the red carpet, with both Emma Roberts and Entourage’s Emmanuelle Chriqui layering up with tailored designs. While when it comes to hemlines, it’s all about sky-high, with Alexa Chung, Lindsay Lohan and Julia Stiles all opting for thigh-skimming numbers.

Oh, did we mention Julia Stiles was there? We were hoping to see her bust out some moves from “Save the Last Dance,” but she largely kept to herself and enjoyed the music with a very unassuming, un-Hollywood crew of friends. Who knew Julia had good taste in music? Parker Posey was there too, but that should come as no surprise since she is New York’s most ubiquitously-spotted celebrity. (Or is that Chloe?) Between camera flashes we found Julia Stiles in the V.I.P. section. She was wearing a black sleeveless dress with what seemed to be tiny black feather embellishments. What did she think of Fashion Week so far?
“Um, it’s really funny to me,” she said, spinning to face us. “Because it’s like, I’m sort of relieved that I don’t work in fashion! Everybody seems stressed out all the time.”
